Before sharing project information

Start useful. Stay appropriately confidential.

A first conversation needs context, not proprietary drawings or private operational data. KDC will establish a suitable transfer route if detailed evidence is required.

  • State the outcome and decision deadline
  • Describe constraints without naming confidential parties
  • Identify the evidence already available
  • Keep sensitive files out of the initial message
Inquiry review & next steps

12 guided answers
01How is my inquiry reviewed and routed?

An authorized KDC coordinator reviews the objective, project stage, location, requested disciplines and timing you provide. The brief is then directed to the relevant technical or commercial lead for an informed response. Access is limited to the people responsible for reviewing or progressing the inquiry, and related activity remains auditable. If essential context is missing, KDC may request clarification before recommending a next step.

02How should I share drawings, specifications or other project evidence?

Do not include proprietary drawings, specifications, operational records or other sensitive files in the initial form. First identify the evidence available and the decision it must support. If a technical review requires those materials, KDC will agree an appropriate controlled exchange, access permissions and any necessary confidentiality arrangements before files are transferred.

03What contact information is required for KDC to respond?

The Quick contact and Detailed project brief routes require your name and a valid work email; a telephone number is optional and may be added when a call is preferable. Accurate information is more valuable than completing every optional field. Additional project context can be gathered during the follow-up conversation.

04How quickly will KDC respond?

A relevant team member will review the brief and respond as soon as practical. Response timing depends on the inquiry, available context and the technical disciplines involved; no response time shown on this website is a contractual commitment.

05Which contact route should I choose?

Use Quick contact when you need help identifying the right conversation. Choose Detailed project brief when you can already describe the project stage, decision pressure, affected systems and desired outcome. Both routes enter the same controlled inquiry workflow.

06What makes an initial brief useful?

State the outcome that must be protected, the decision or constraint creating pressure, the current project stage, the parties or disciplines involved and any important timing. Avoid sending a document dump without explaining the decision the evidence must support.

07Can I contact KDC before a project is formally approved?

Yes. Early conversations may focus on feasibility, site or utility assumptions, capacity pathways, investment constraints or the evidence needed for a future decision. Share only information you are authorized to disclose.

08Can KDC join a project that is already in design or delivery?

KDC can review a live condition at different project stages. The first step is to establish the current approved basis, unresolved interface, available evidence and the authority each party holds; the resulting role is then defined around the actual gap.

09Can I ask about more than one service or discipline?

Yes. Mission-critical decisions commonly cross power, cooling, architecture, digital engineering, delivery controls and commissioning. Describe the complete consequence rather than trying to assign the inquiry to a single internal department.

10What happens if my brief does not contain enough detail?

KDC may request focused clarification before proposing a useful next step. You will not be asked to repeat information already provided, and detailed evidence should remain outside ordinary email until an appropriate exchange route is agreed.

11Does submitting the form create an appointment or engagement?

No. A submission begins an inquiry review only. Scope, responsibilities, commercial terms, availability, confidentiality requirements and any formal appointment must be agreed separately in writing.

12How is my information handled?

Inquiry information is used to review, route and respond to the request under the published privacy notice. Access is limited according to role, and you can use the Privacy Center to understand or exercise applicable information rights.
